The opportunity
What you will own
- Define reference architectures, platform boundaries, integration patterns and engineering guardrails across CloudTen products.
- Lead system-design reviews covering scalability, availability, security, privacy, observability and maintainability.
- Guide API, event, data, identity, cloud and deployment architecture across multi-product engineering teams.
- Translate product strategy into pragmatic technical roadmaps and architectural decision records.
- Mentor senior engineers and help establish consistent engineering standards, quality gates and technical governance.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption only where they create measurable product or operational value.
What you bring
Core qualifications
- Substantial senior-level software architecture and distributed-systems experience in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, APIs, relational data, event-driven systems, CI/CD and observability.
- Evidence of designing systems with security, privacy and resilience as first-class requirements.
- Ability to communicate complex technical decisions clearly to engineers, product leaders and executives.
- Experience leading architecture across multiple teams, products or business domains.
Additional strengths
Preferred experience
- Experience with real-time communications, healthcare technology, identity/security platforms or regulated systems.
- Experience building products used across multiple countries or regions.
- Strong familiarity with modern threat modelling and secure software development practices.
